High Line

Ok, so after editing these photos and looking over them, I am not sure I am crazy about this outfit now but I loved it 48 hours ago so I thought it was worth a post. This happens to me a lot in everyday life–– I will get dressed in the morning and feel fabulous, but by noon I am second guessing what I am wearing. It happens I guess. My original thought while putting this outfit together was mixing patterns while not being too crazy, but as I look at it now, maybe it's too crazy? Maybe I secretly like crazy?

Anyways, this was shot on the High Line, one of my favorite spots in the city. It's always so damn windy up there, but I wanted to try to shoot anyway because I knew the leaves would be changing. It was windy as hell, but we tried to shoot against the wind so it was blowing the hair out of my face instead of directly in it. It kind of worked, but it turns out that the backdrop would have been much nicer if the wind had felt like blowing the other way.

I picked up this blazer from Zara's new sister store, Bershka. I talked about it in my last post, so I won't bore you with details, but I will go ahead and say I wish I had gotten a medium instead of a small. I naturally have broad shoulders, and this makes the sleeves feel kind of tight. If you're like me, size up!
