2017 Holiday Gift Guide: For The Nomad

On my 16th birthday, my aunt bought me a beautiful luggage set as a gift but told me I could return it and get whatever I wanted if I felt like it instead. I was young and dumb and did just that, trading in the cute purple hard luggage set for Tory Burch flats and a Tory Burch bag, both of which I ended up rarely using. My aunt gave me the greatest gift I ever returned, and I still regret it to this day. It's annoying to drop money on buying good luggage, but I've had so many suitcases fall apart and disintegrate that I'm now all for investing in high-quality ones.

I've been traveling so much lately on the weekends that I have come to appreciate what I take with me on each flight/train ride. Travel essentials make wonderful gifts–– they stand the test of time and will be used again and again. Think about how many times a year you get on a plan or go on a weekend road trip. I get so excited every time I receive a travel makeup bag or a fun luggage tag as a Christmas present! Some of my favorite travel pieces are my Free People scarf (doubles as a blanket, I swear), my wallet phone case, and my wireless headphones! I also love to wear a good pair of sweatpant joggers when flying–– they are comfy, but don't look too sloppy. What are your travel essentials?

P.S. –– All of the items below are under $300 (with most way under $100), including the wireless headphones and suitcase. You don't have to shell out too much money to travel comfily in style.
