At the Museum

On Monday, I headed to the Telfair Museum in Savannah with my mother. We were downtown and had an hour to kill before a meeting, and we had been wanting to see the William Wegman exhibit. I'm so lucky to have a mother that is as into the arts as I am–– we both LOVE museums.

There was another exhibit on display that I loved besides Wegman's–– it was centered all around FOMO (fear of missing out) and our generation's gross obsession with social media. The main idea of it was that we are always missing out because we are so glued to our phones. The present is not the present because it's lost the second we post about it–– as soon as you publish it to the internet, the present becomes old news.
