How to Buy High End Luxury Items on a Budget

One of the questions that I get asked the most is how to purchase luxury items when on a budget–– people are constantly wondering how to buy luxury for less than full price without compromising quality. It is completely possible to do! Finding designer bags, shoes and accessories at a discount is honestly not as tricky as it seems. Here are some ways that I have been able to save some major $ when picking out high-end pieces.

Gucci Disco Review

After owning the Gucci Disco purse for over a year now and using it almost every single day (I am obsessed), I thought it would be time for me to give a comprehensive review of it. I get so many questions regarding this bag and whether it is worth the money, and I can honestly answer that question with a resounding yes. In fact, I recently talked my best friend into purchasing the red one. When we went to the Gucci store, the salesman told us that Gucci is planning on discontinuing them and replacing them with the new Marmont camera bags. If this is true, I am extremely disappointed in Gucci's decision to get rid of such a classic bag–– you do not mess with perfection! Therefore, if you have been contemplating purchasing this amazing bag, you may want to do it now rather than later!

Spring Sweater Shirt

One of my favorite go-to spring looks is a cute top, denim shorts, and fun sneakers. I raved about Lilla P in my last outfit post, and they also sent me this cute and comfy sweater shirt. I knew it would look darling with my Marc Fisher star sneakers and my go-to L'Agence white frayed shorts. The quality of Lilla P's products is amazing, and the lace up detail on this sweatshirt is trendy without being too over the top!

Drinks With Friends

I cannot stop raving about Lilla P's clothing, and this top is a stunner. It's made of the most comfortable material and it can be dressed up or down. I chose to wear it with my new favorite jeans and these Sam Edelman sandals that are less than $65 on sale right now! It was perfect for dinner and drinks at my favorite Italian restaurant with friends.

Graduating With Minted

Invitations c/o Minted

I seriously cannot believe I am graduating in May! Minted was kind enough to email me about a graduation collaboration, and I was so excited when they contacted me. I have been a big fan of their cute paper products and cards for the longest time, and they printed me the prettiest graduation invitations that I will be sending to my closest friends and family.

I was so pleasantly surprised by the amount of designs Minted had to select from, and although I ultimately decided on this design, I also loved this one and this one. I would highly recommend their services due to their impeccable quality and customer service!

Grand Canyon

When Ashley and I were planning our trip to Nevada, we knew we would have to hop the border to Arizona and see the Grand Canyon. I had been before when I was smaller, but Ashley had never seen the marvelous hole in the ground. We rented a car and made the insanely fun 2 and a half hour drive to the west rim of the canyon. We wanted to hike it, but you can only do that from the North or South rim, and we didn't want to make a longer drive and spend the night.

We still got to see stunning, panoramic views of the canyon and "hike" to the top of a huge rock. In my opinion, if you ever find yourself in Las Vegas, you have to make the trip. It's one of the most stunning thing's you'll ever see in nature, and it is truly breathtaking!

Exploring Nevada

For spring break, me and my friend Ashley went to Las Vegas–– girl's trip! I've always wanted to go back to Vegas with a BFF after turning 21 (it was on my 101 in 1001 list), and we had the best time! We rented a car for 2 days so we could go exploring and one of the places we wanted to check out was Seven Magic Mountains, a lovely, colorful art installation in the absolute middle of nowhere. After frolicking through the colorful rocks, we went to one of my favorite places, Red Rocks, to hike through a riverbed.

I will also be sharing our Grand Canyon pictures within the next week, so stay tuned for those! I always take my big camera on trips with Ashley, but we never use it in New York because it's such a hassle (and it's super heavy). We definitely took advantage of it this time.
