Fading Into Fall?

Ok, so here's the thing–– if you live below the Mason Dixon line, then you're probably currently still sweating your ass off (well, at least I am). As much as I love normal flannels, long sleeves are a serious no-no in September, especially when it's still considered hurricane season and it's extremely humid out. I found the perfect solution to the problem, and it's my new Gap sleeveless "flannel," which looks like a flannel, but is not made of the heavy traditional flannel material that one associates with fall. This shirt is so light and comfortable! I paired it with white jeans and booties, but it would also be cute with denim shorts and booties.

  1. I love the flowing style to that plaid top. It's non-traditional and versatile - something you could even wear a turtleneck beneath once it's cool enough. You look fabulous!

  2. Beautiful, Isabella. Love the transition color scheme here for moving into fall.

  3. It's so hot here in So Cal! I'm trying so hard to find fall items to wear without dying from the heat. Loving this look!
