Life Lately

Life has been rather busy lately–– I have had literally no time to take outfit photos for the blog and schoolwork has had to come first. Here are some snapshots that I have shared on instagram recently! I recently started using Like It To Know It... Sign up here and you can shop my instagram posts by simply liking them!

I went to Disney for my friend's 21st birthday on Valentine's Day. I just had to take a heart pic in front of the castle... By the way, I would definitely not recommend going to Disney World on a long weekend. The lines were not worth it at all, but at least the weather was nice.

These lace up flats from Steve Madden are suprisingly comfortable and so trendy! I've been wearing mine with white J. Crew jeans.

This pic is a throwback outfit from working over the summer–– this bag and this scalloped dress are some of my closet favorites.

I'm so in love with the mirror that me and my roommate purchased at IKEA. It's how I have been sharing a majority of my outfits with y'all lately.

I just ordered this Gucci bag on a whim (it was a treat to myself after a seriously terrible week) and I am so in love with it. It was worth the investment and I know that I will be using it for years to come.

These Steve Madden sandals are so cute and affordable! I have been wearing them a ton lately to class. They run a little small–– I got my normal size, but a half size bigger would have probably been better!

I hope y'all have been having a good February. My spring break starts on Friday (so early, I know) and I am so excited to be going to Montana. Hopefully I'll have time to shoot some outfits while I am there.

My Prom 2016 Guide

Prom is around the corner, and it is such an exciting time of year to go dress shopping. It can be hard to find the perfect dress, but I have tried to simplify it for you guys by sharing some of my favorite dresses, shoes, and accessories for the perfect prom. You can shop my picks below!
I decided to choose a wide variety of dresses in different prices, lengths, and colors–– that way, there is a ton to choose from. I actually own the black Rachel Zoe gown and I highly recommend it–– you can wear it over and over again after prom, and it is so darn comfortable!

I am currently lusting over those light blue suede Steve Madden shoes right now–– they are sitting in my shopping cart online waiting to be purchased. I think they look so fun yet comfortable. I also LOVE Ivanka Trump's tassel strappy sandals in black. They could be worn after prom to go out in during college.

One of my favorite looks for prom is statement earrings, no necklace, and a simpler dress. I have included some of my favorite pairs, along with statement necklaces for some of y'all that like a bolder, more fun look (or don't have your ears pierced like me).

In my personal opinion, the best thing to carry your phone and lipstick (for touchups) in is a cute clutch or small crossbody bag. You'll most likely throw it on a table for the rest of the night, but it's still fun to have a cute one.

I hope this helps y'all get shopping ideas for prom! If you end up purchasing any of the goods I have recommended, tag me in your prom photos on instagram or tumblr–– I love seeing you guys wearing my recommendations!

The Trends I Am Currently Loving

Y'all, I am currently dying over all of the tassel/fringe/pom pom clothing, shoes, and accessories right now. I love the festive feeling and the bright colors–– can spring be here already? I've decided that I need the fringe Steve Madden heels and the Rebecca Minkoff tassel clutch. I'm also loving the pom pom necklace from Forever 21, but I'm questioning whether I could pull it off or not.

I hope that everyone had a great week. It seemed so long, but I'm not so sure that I am excited for this weekend–– I have a practice LSAT exam tomorrow and a multitude of tests and projects next week, which means I'll be inside studying. What are some trends that you currently love? Feel free to share in the comments below!

One With Nature

My friend showed me the most lovely little park to shoot at the other day–– I especially loved all of the leafy trees and the vibrantly green grass. So many other people were getting their photos taken as well, so it must be a quite popular spot.

I have had this tie dye chambray Splendid dress for months but I never got around to shooting it. It's one of my favorite dresses, and it is so easy to slip on in the mornings and just go.

I didn't realize how truly pale I was until I was looking at these photos, and I cannot wait until the sun comes out so I can get some Vitamin D! Plus, warm weather outfits are always much cuter.

Valentine's Day Picks

Valentine's Day is right around the corner, so I have rounded up some of my favorite pink and red goodies to get you in the mood. I have total heart eyes over the Gucci "Disco" bag in red and the black Elizabeth and James dress, which would be perfect for a chilly date night. What goodies are you treating yourself (or your Galentine's pals) with this year?

Charles River Chambray

Charles River Apparel sent me the most lovely button down chambray shirt. It's perfect for this gloomy weather we have been having, and it is so high quality. I am giving away one on my instagram so be sure to enter!

I ordered mine in a size medium because I like an oversized fit, but otherwise it runs true to size. I hope everyone is having a happy Monday!
