A Day in the Life of Me: Junior Year Edition

Junior year is in full swing, so I thought I would share with y'all how I juggle school/friends/blogging in a regular day! Although it can be tough, it is manageable–– I am currently taking six classes and I still have plenty of free time because I now know how to use my time wisely. Today I am sharing with y'all a typical Wednesday, since it happens to be my busiest day!

7:00AM–– My alarm goes off. I stay in bed for about 30 minutes while scrolling through social media, checking emails, and responding to any texts I got while I was asleep.

7:30AM–– I get out of bed, quickly get dressed, put in my contact lenses, brush my teeth, put on makeup, etc... Then, I eat breakfast as I head out the door.

7:40AM–– I leave for school. Since I am exactly five minutes away, I park around 7:45ish if I get good parking and walk to class.

8:00AM to 8:50AM–– In Spanish class.

9:00AM to 10:30AM–– I either go to the library/my apartment to work on assignments. Usually, I work on case briefs for my business law class or do readings for my international politics class.

11:00AM to 11:50AM–– In World Art History class.

12:00PM to 12:50ish PM–– I have paddleboarding class, which counts as a PE credit.

1:00PM–– Shake Shack time. It's located on the lake where my paddleboarding classes are held, so I usually just get it to go and take it back to my apartment!

1:30PM to 5:00PM–– I either go back to the library to work on homework with friends or I go back to the apartment to catch up on work for a few hours.

6:00PM to 7:00PM–– Dinnertime if me and my roommate/friends decide to eat at a decent time. We usually all argue about who is choosing where we eat because we all hate making decisions.

8:00PM to 11:00PM–– Netflix and homework time. Multitasking between Grey's Anatomy and studying for Business Management. Priorities.

11:00PM–– Junior year is kicking our asses, so on the rare occasion that me and my friends go out on Wednesdays, we will get ready and leave around 11. We usually only stay out until 1AM because we all have early classes. It sucks being grown up and responsible.

11:30PM–– Shower and bedtime. Finally, I get to sleep!

  1. Getting up at 8:15 is bad enough for me, I can't imagine getting up at 7!! Loved this fun post! - Emma | www.dashofserendipity.com

  2. I love that you have a designated Shake Shack time slot. Shake Shack is my absolute favorite place ever--the shack sauce is unreal!
